In this session, all McMaster community members are invited to learn more about Live Events, involving Microsoft Teams and Stream to broadcast large-scale events. We’ll also cover Present Live from PowerPoint.
Teams live events is an extension of Teams meetings, enabling users to broadcast video and meeting content to a large online audience. These are meant for one-to-many communications where the host of the event is leading the interactions and audience participation is primarily to view the content shared by host.
With Present Live in PowerPoint, audience members can see a presentation on their devices and read live subtitles in their preferred language while you speak. They can use “pinch to zoom” to see the slides more clearly on mobile devices, give feedback, send live reactions to the presenter, and navigate back to review previous slides.
