Benefits
Please note: Shifts is a feature within Microsoft Teams. Shifts is currently offered to McMaster staff and faculty after they migrate to McMaster Mail (powered by Microsoft 365).
Shifts in Microsoft Teams is a scheduling management application that allows you to create, update, and manage schedules for your team through McMaster Mail (powered by Microsoft 365). Shifts can be used through a web browser, desktop app, or on mobile.
Team owners can set schedules, leave notes for one person, or message the entire team. You can see weekly and monthly work schedules, manage requests for time off, swap or offer shifts to other team members, while also providing news bulletins and policy documents.
Team members can view their upcoming shifts, see who else is scheduled for the day, request to swap or offer a shift, and request time off.
